Daniya graduated with a bachelor degree in International Relations from Turan University, Almaty and Szechenyi Istvan University, Hungary with a specialization on China and South-East Asian economy. In addition to that she is an alumna of AIESEC youth organization, a graduate of the School of Economic Diplomacy, Almaty and a member of the Organizing Committee of NSWMUN.

Ms Kassenova served as team leader in international youth organization AIESEC, independent observer to parliamentary elections of Kazakhstan and a representative of Almaty youth at various international conferences and projects in Central Asia. Daniya has contributed greatly to the organization of international Model United Nations conferences giving trainings to new members, chairing over the Committee on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) and negotiating with sponsors of New Silk Way MUN.
